Banana Yogurt Cake

 

Ingredients:

1 cup sugar
½ cup butter, melted
3 mashed ripe bananas
3 eggs
1 teaspoons baking soda
½ cup hot milk
⅔ cup plain (or fruit) yoghurt
2 cups flour
3 teaspoons baking powder


Preheat oven to 320˚F (160˚C).

Mix together sugar, butter and eggs until well blended.

Add the mashed bananas and combine well.

Stir soda into the hot milk and add to banana mixture.

Add yoghurt, flour and baking powder to mixture and stir until well combined

Pour the cake batter into a greased 9 inch round cake pan.

Bake for 45-50 minutes or until skewer comes out clean.

Leave in pan for 10 minutes before turning out onto a cooling rack.
