Banana (Sour Cream) Cake

 

Ingredients:

3 cups plain flour
1 cup sugar
2 packages of instant flavored oatmeal
4 mashed ripe bananas
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
4 tablespoons butter
4 eggs
1 cup sour cream

 

Preheat oven to 350˚F (175˚C).


In a large bowl mix together flour, sugar, oatmeal and baking powder until well combined.

In a sepaerate bowl, combine vanilla extract, butter, eggs, sour cream, bananas and mix well.

Add the dry ingredients slowly to the wet ingredients and stir until well combined.

Pour the cake batter into a greased 9 inch round cake pan.

Bake for 40-45 minutes or until skewer comes out clean.

Leave in pan for 10 minutes before turning out onto a cooling rack.
